Mandai Wildlife Reserve is back with yet another unique experience, where you can choose your wild based on the appetite of adventure and seek out fascinating wildlife as you discover the wonders of the rainforest, both above and below ground.

You might think this is just another zoo, well, think again! This is Asia’s first adventure-based wildlife park which offers an immersive rainforest experience to visitors. Here, you can trek along the Forest Treks to navigate through dense rainforest, cross boulders, balance on suspended bridges and navigate cave networks. Oh, and did I mention? You’ll be doing all this while on the lookout for animals like Malayan sun bears, Malayan tapirs, Malayan tigers, and the ever-elusive François’ langurs in their naturalistic habitats.

Spread over 13 hectares of land, Rainforest Wild ASIA offers 8 exciting and unique zones for you to explore. Trust me, exploring each zone of this wildlife park feels like discovering something new with every step, much like unlocking new levels in your favourite childhood game.

1. Entrance Gorge
Start your expedition at the Entrance Gorge, where you’ll begin exploring a vibrant rainforest teeming with life. This area mimics the edge of a natural rainforest, featuring emergent trees that immerse you in the experience.
This is also where you are welcomed with a habitat pond, home to various freshwater species. Here, you can choose your own adventure – take the Elevated Walkways for a leisurely stroll around the park or embark on Forest Treks for thrilling trails and closer encounters with wildlife. Consider the first level as your warm-up and step into the wild!

2. The Karsts
Home to the Francois’ Langurs, the first of its kind in Singapore, here, you can marvel at jagged limestone formations and spot the agile primates swinging and leaping in their habitat.
Enjoy a view from the Karst lookout on the elevated walkway or take the Karst Loop Trek for a different perspective.

3. The Outpost
Relax… The Outpost is everyone’s favourite! Why? Because you can pause here to refuel with a quick bite or refreshing drink at the Rangers Cafe and get ready to continue your adventure!
4. Forest Floor
Time to descend to the Forest Floor and immerse yourself in the rich undergrowth of the rainforest. Traverse through fallen trees, climb over logs and get up-close with free-roaming deers and tortoises.
Remember: Keep your eyes peeled for hidden creatures you might encounter.
5. Rock Cascade
Continue towards the Rock Cascade, where the towering rocks and cascading waterfalls offer stunning views. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to spot majestic Malayan tigers! Can you spot the predator before it spots you? This zone also features flex habitats, where predator and prey species rotate, offering a dynamic and immersive experience.

6. The Canopy
Step into The Canopy and experience the rainforest from an exhilarating new height! Walk across the Langur Walking Net and look out for the Red-shanked Douc Langurs, Siamangs, and Philippine spotted deer roaming beneath you. Let me tell you this is no ordinary adventure…it’s an aerial experience where nature surrounds you at every thrilling step!
7. Watering Hole
This is the largest zone in Rainforest Wild ASIA and offers an exciting adventure where fun knows no limits! As you explore, keep your eyes peeled for Malayantapirs roaming the forest floor, Malayan sun bears amongst the trees, and perhaps even a crocodile watching you!
8. The Cavern
Your final adventure leads you into a colossal 220-meter cavern, inspired by the UNESCO World Heritage SiteMulu Caves in Sarawak. Prepare to be awe-inspired as you navigate through cave chambers, explore unique rock formations and discover the stunning photo spot, the Oculus. Oh and did we mention you can spot cave species here too? Don’t miss the Cave Racer Snake and Asian Forest Scorpions resting in the corners of the cave.
